Grinding concrete floors known as diamond grinding is an effective method used to remove, resurface, scratch, prepare, flatten, and expose concrete for a variety of decorative applications and practical uses on concrete. Using metal concrete diamonds for aggressive cutting, concrete resurfacing, and preparation, these concrete grinding tools can range from 6 grit to 150 grit providing solutions for many surface issues, challenges and decorative concrete processes.
We use diamond grinding for the following procedures:
Concrete Floor Prep for Concrete Coatings
Grind & Seals or Sealed Concrete
Prep for Concrete Overlays
Thin glues, paints, epoxies, adhesives & mastics removal
Aggregate Exposure for Polished Concrete
Concrete Scarifying is an extremely aggressive method for the removal of concrete, including high spots, trip hazards, humps and unleveled concrete, leaving an aggressive profile in its path for coatings or cement based systems.

Shot blasting is a very effective way to prep concrete for coatings & toppings while aggressively removing them too. A quick efficient way to properly prepare for concrete coatings along with dustless methods.
Concrete Surface Profile (CSP) 3
Self-levelers, including underlayments and cement toppings, are used to level, raise, and flatten concrete floors and wood substrates. They can be general floor prep for floor coverings or decorative in nature and honed or polished into a finished beautiful concrete floor.
Removal and disposal of old unwanted flooring.
Removal and disposal of wood floors, laminate wood, engineered wood and more.
Removal of glues & adhesives with scrapeaways under low-speed buffers or highly effective planetary grinders for larger areas.
Acid-Etching is an old school, yet effective method involving the use of muriatic acid to etch off the top surface of concrete or top layer and open up the pores of the concrete slab exposing the concrete in greater measure. Acid-etching, though recognized by many, isn't recommended by most manufacturers for concrete coatings or higher solids materials today (grinding & shot blasting are). In addition, the acidic residue must also be neutralized and rinsed thoroughly to avoid contamination or chemical interference with most materials and decorative processes.
